- Biodegradable Staff ID Cards
Our biodegradable cards are manufactured from an innovative PVC resin which is treated to make them completely biodegradable. Compared to our standard card they look and feel no different however when in a fertile environment such as land fill they begin to degrade completing in around 1-5 years. You can choose this option when entering your Card Type from the drop down menu when ordering.
Lanyards & Holders
Equal numbers of lanyards and card holders are also available to purchase when ordering.
Layout
The following can be printed onto the card: Employee photo, company logo / graphics, background images, employee name, title and department, sequential numbering, employee number, barcode.
Card Holders v’s Punched Slot Holes
Inserting your cards into plastic card holders will help to protect them from scratches and scuff and prolong their life. Another option is to instead order a ‘slot hole’ to be punched, this will enable you to directly attach a clip or lanyard to the cards. Please select your preference when ordering.
Ordering your photo ID cards – Process made easy

- Populate the data sheet and send to us with a layout of how you would like the card to look. Please email with your order number to idcards@theedgesystems.co.uk.
- We will review your requirement and may contact you before our artwork team set about designing a great looking card.
- Prior to printing a pdf proof will be emailed to you to approve or amend.
- Upon approval your order will progress into our secure card printing bureau where the design and your data will be printed professionally onto top quality plastic cards before being posted out to you using a signed for carrier service.
