Magicard Digital Shredding

Digital shredding is a new important feature developed to accommodate GDPR regulations. Once data has been used for a print job, it is fragmented and rendered irrecoverable. This will ensure that your machine is not responsible for a data breach as all personal data is destroyed after use.

Holokote is a transparent image that is printed onto the clear overlay film on the ribbon during the printing process. This creates a secure watermark only seen in certain light, helping to reduce the risk of cloning and making counterfeited cards easy to spot. With custom Holokote, you can create up to 10 personalised designs such as text, images or logos.

Peace of Mind Warranty

  • 3 year warranty: covers poor workmanship, manufacturing defects and component failure conditional with use of approved Magicard consumables and observance of correct maintenance and frequency. Magicard recommend cleaning after each dye film change, but as a minimum, you will be prompted by your printer to perform a cleaning process and change tacky roller at every 700 cards. The printer’s counter is used as a reference.
  • If your printer is faulty with 6 weeks of delivery then it will be replaced with a new one.
  • 50,000 card (250,000 panel) print head warranty.

Printer Type

The Magicard 300 prints using colour dye sublimation, monochrome thermal ribbons. It’s a direct-to-card (DTC) card printer so prints the card design image from the ribbon onto the cards surface. Bear in mind it when designing your card template it leaves a small white border around the edge of the card.

Card Types

The Magicard 300 prints onto both CR79 and CR80 credit-card sized cards and works biodegradable, PVC ISO blank cards, hi-co magnetic stripe, smart cards, self-adhesive, rewritable, and HoloPatch cards.

Print Volume

The Magicard 300 is developed for medium-sized volumes of card printing, up to 10,000 cards per year. There is a 100-card feeder (input) and a 70-card stacker (output).

Print Speed

The Magicard 300 has been specifically designed for extremely fast print speeds, taking less than 23 seconds to produce a dual-sided, full-colour photo ID card, and only 6 seconds to print a monochrome ID card.

Operating Systems

The Magicard 300 printer is compatible for use with Windows 7, 8, 10 (32 and 64bit) Windows server 2008, 2012, 2016. Mac OS X 10.9.0 upwards. Linux with CUPS support.


The Magicard 300 comes in a compact size design to blend in with any office environment. It’s also light weight to very portable.

Dimensions are: 40.8cm x 21.5cm x 24.2cm (L x W x H), including feeder and stacker and it weighs 4.98kgs.


EasyBadge Mobile PC Compatible

The printer comes supplied with EasyBadge Lite card printing software, you’ll find this very straight forward to install onto a PC. Use it to quickly create a great looking card layout from scratch or use one of the handy templates, simply input your personalisation data then print!

Using the EasyBadge app, you can quickly capture photos and data on the move with your mobile (Android or Apple). You can sync this data with the PC EasyBadge to print cards. You can input data using either the app or the PC.

Please upgrade to Easybadge Professional if you need to print and store more than 100 cards. There’s an internal card counter in Easybadge, so unfortunately you can’t delete 100 records to print more.

A standard delivery charge of £24.95 is applicable for parcels up to 10kg to the following areas : Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands. We will send using a secure trackable signed for courier, 20 or less printed plastic cards will be posted Royal Mail 1st Class.

When will I receive my order?

Stock Orders:

We aim to despatch items as quickly as possible, order by 12:00pm and delivery will be 1-2 days

Printed Personalised Orders:

We will be in touch with a delivery date, from proof approval generally looking at (working days):
